CASE STUDY
A premium eyewear brand with a loyal following and strong organic presence wanted to scale paid search without diluting their brand or tanking efficiency. They'd been burned before by agencies that cranked up spend and watched ROAS collapse. They needed someone who understood that premium brands can't just bid their way to growth.
We built a tight, focused Google Ads strategy around two core pillars: a branded campaign to capture high-intent demand and defend against competitor conquesting, and a Performance Max campaign with carefully curated asset groups and audience signals to drive incremental shopping revenue. No broad match experiments. No spray-and-pray Display campaigns. Just disciplined structure built for profitable growth.
What We Did: Launched a PMax campaign with product feed optimization, brand-aligned creative assets, and custom audience signals built from their first-party data. Ran a clean branded campaign at $0.93 avg CPC to capture demand and protect against competitor bidding. Kept total campaign count to 3 — intentionally lean so every campaign had enough conversion volume for smart bidding to work.
The Results: Performance Max hit 9.9x ROAS with a $23 CPA — generating $178K in revenue on under $18K in spend. Branded search added another $350K in revenue at 9.4x ROAS. Total: over $530K in tracked revenue across 2,300+ conversions, with a blended ROAS above 9.5x. Proof that premium brands don't need massive budgets — they need precision.
